The Directors of Mountfield Group Plc are delighted to announce that its subsidiary MBG has been awarded a new £1.2m contract by its long-standing Telecom client at one of its London sites. This is the second project of this type to be won via a competitive bid process with the client this year. The works involve an upgrade to the site's operational infrastructure along with mechanical and electrical upgrades and improvements.

The works are due to commence immediately and will scheduled for completion in this current financial year.

This contract is in addition to MBG's already secured work for 2018 that was valued at £2.3m in the recent trading statement issued by the Directors on 27 March 2018

The Directors of Group are pleased to announce that 2017 saw a sizeable increase in Group's turnover and they expect, following conclusion of the audit, to announce a substantial increase to net profit achieved in the year to 31 December 2016.

The Directors of Group are delighted to announce that MBG has been awarded two new contracts with an initial aggregate value of £1m, with the work on both to be undertaken primarily in 2018.

The first contract, which has been awarded by a major European main contractor, is valued at £375k and is for the first phase of the architectural fitting out to a large new data centre project in Middlesex. The contract is expected to run with additional phases throughout 2018 and could potentially bring the company further contracts to the value of £1m

Following a review by the Directors of the Group's second half performance in 2017 and of the forecast revenue for the remainder of the year from contracts already announced, they advise that the net profit for the period is likely to exceed that achieved in both the first half of the year to 30 June 2017 and the second half of the year to 31 December 2016.

Since 30 June 2017, the Group has announced contract wins totalling £8.92m

The contract has been awarded by a global construction and fit out company from which Connaught has previously won, and successfully delivered, a number of contracts. The Directors believe this contract is for one of the largest flooring installations planned in the current market in London.

The contract works (which are scheduled to commence in October 2017 and run for approximately 12 months) have an initial sales value of circa £4m including negotiated project variations to date.

The Directors of Group are delighted to announce that Designer M&E Services UK Ltd have awarded the Company a contract to the value of £1.02 million to provide architectural and building works on a 'turn-key' type basis to a four-storey office fit out as part of a large engineering project in Surrey where Designer M&E Services UK Ltd are installing all the mechanical and electrical services.

The Directors of Group are delighted to announce that the client has now awarded the Company a further such contract but that this one with a value of £1.65m and the works are to be undertaken in the West Midlands area.
