Mountfield Group, the AIM quoted construction company specialising in building and refurbishing data centres, announces that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held earlier today, all resolutions were duly passed.

Mountfield (AIM: MOGP) announces that on 20 July 2012 the Board approved the grant of an option ("Share Option") over 1,450,000 ordinary shares of one penny each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to Tom Spanner, a non executive director of the Company.

2009 proved difficult for the Group with both Mountfield Building Group and Connaught Access Flooring experiencing a dramatic decline in turnover as challenging market conditions persisted.

Whilst the Group’s performance was in line with those of its competitors, our response has been to evaluate how we can build, develop and return our Group to profitability in 2010. We have done this mainly by looking at new markets where the Group’s skills and experience can be applied and by seeking smaller scale contracts from our existing client base.

Chris Baron who managed the East Grinstead office has left its employment.

The change was driven by his need to spend more time in his accountancy practice following the death of his senior partner.  On the same day Sir Jeremy Hanley resigned from his position as a non-executive director of the Company due to his other business commitments.
